If i wrote the wizard of OZ i would make Mrs.Fortenberry Dorothy because unlike the scarecrow she had a brain and one that almost outsmart anything and unlike the cowardly lion she had courage and enough to face anythin and unlike the tin man she had a heart and a giant one at that. Also like Dorothy she was sweet to everyone she met and no matter what they were like.

I loved mrs. Fortenberry as a teacher and a person!! I remeber she was the only person I new that loved texas tech as much as I did!!! And ironically the year i had her in class was the year that texas tech beat texas!!! we were soooooooo happy haha and we used to make fun of the kids that cheered for texas!!!! i love her and i miss her, and al my prayers go out to her and her family!!! RIP MRS FORT!!!! WE ALL LOVE U!!!

Mrs.Fortenberry was the, I guess you could say, Angel of Paradise. Everyone could go to Mrs.Fortenberry for anything. You could talk to her and she would tell you what you needed to hear. Shes one of the strongest. kindest, inspirational people I have known. The one who convinced many of us to read more and write more. Everyone remembers her scary stories she told on halloween. "Fido Lick My Hand" I loved her stories. Everyone did. We all know that Mrs.Fortenberry is over the Rainbow and finally in Emerald City. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't ever have Mrs. Fortenberry as a teacher nor did I ever get to know her that well, but from her strong will and wonderful heart, as described by everyone, I could tell that she was a wonderful person and that everyone will miss her. I hope the best for her and her family, and it is a comforting feeling to know that she is at peace with the Lord.
